What is Rhythm, Rhyme and Story Time?
Rhythm, Rhyme & Story Time offers a quality early music education program for preschool-aged children (0-5) in the Edmonton area. We hold regular sessions in Edmonton, Sherwood Park and Ardrossan. What do the classes include? This program combines singing, finger plays, movement and dancing with a wide variety of musical instruments to share and explore. Throw in a craft, playtime, a story and parachute games and you have the perfect recipe for fun-filled learning. Watch as your child develops vocabulary, language skills, listening skills, fine motor skills, counting, rhythm and social skills. Rhythm, Rhyme & Story Time is a parented program, so an adult caregiver is required to stay and join the fun. You and your child will love spending a music-filled morning together!
ALBERTA STAY-AT-HOME PARENT SUBSIDY
Did you know that Alberta Government will subsidize preschool age children's attendance in approved early childhood development programs to a yearly maximum of $1200? This includes attendance at Rhythm, Rhyme and Story Time!
The purpose of this subsidy is to provide opportunities for preschoolers - either on their own or with a parent - to experience appropriate activities that promote healthy childhood development. If your gross (before tax) family income is $78 000 or less, you can probably qualify for the subsidy!
